SafeLives Toolkits

SafeLives MARAC Representatives' Toolkit - The representatives' toolkit is designed to be used by MARAC representatives who attend the MARAC meeting itself. It highlights their crucial role in each stage of the process before, during and after the meeting.

SafeLives have also created a FAQ for MARAC Practitioners, this can be found here.

Other Useful Toolkits

Young Person's RIC - The SafeLives Young Person's Risk Identification Checklist is a useful tool to help identify high risk cases of domestic abuse within a young person's relationship. The form is suitable for use with young people aged between 13 & 17. Please note that MARAC referrals can only be made for victims aged 16 onwards.

Severity of Abuse Grid - The SafeLives Severity of Abuse Grid (or SOAG) has been developed to be used alongside the DASH Checklist. It gives a framework within which can help identify specific features of the abuse suffered by the victim and can also provide relevant information for potential MARAC cases.
